August 22, 2010—DEVILS LAKE, ND—Jon Dircks and Curtis Blake brought a monster 19.70-pound basket to the scale to win a weathershortened walleye fest at the Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit’s Western Division stop on Devils Lake.

When the National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory calling for sustained winds of 30 to 35 mph and gusts to 45, along with a Special Weather Statement predicting high waves and hazardous amounts of lake debris, MWC staff had no choice but to cancel Day Two of the competition. “We always want our teams to be able to fish, but their safety is our top concern,” said Tournament Director Dan Palmer. Cabela’s MWC Crowns Saginaw Bay Tournament Champs, East Divison Teams of the Year and Berkley Premier Team Bracket Winners!

Day 2 winners, all sponsor bonuses, 1st place BFTournament Champions, Michigan anglers David Kolb of Rockford, and Ryan Wall of New Baltimore fished a strong tournament by landin in sixth place on day one with 18.29lbs,  only 1.79lbs behind day one leaders.  But the pair came back strong with a Day Two, five-fish limit weighing 20.08 pounds, capturing First Place and the top cash prize of $12,000 with a two-day total of 38.37 pounds. Minnetonka, MN – June 6, 2010 – All eyes were on Oshkosh, Wisconsin, June 5-6 when 362 two-person teams faced off on the legendary Lake Winnebago system in a dual tournament of world-record proportions.

A combination of the Cabela’s National Team Championship and Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit’s Lake Winnebago Central Division Qualifier, the event offered more than $350,000 in cash and prizes, including a pair of Evinrude E-Tec powered Ranger 619 boats.
