Masters Walleye Circuit 2026 Registration Open Date

Ponca City, Oklahoma – January 29, 2026 – In the midst of an arctic blast of air settling in across the ice belt, most are eagerly anticipating the open water days to chase walleyes. The Masters Walleye Circuit is proud to announce that registration for 2026, it’s 43rd season, will open on February 2nd, 2026, at 10AM CST. Teams of 2 anglers will be looking to place well in single events, but also to compete for Team of the Year status and a chance to gain entry into the 2026 World Walleye Championship at the destination location of Devils Lake in North Dakota.

Looking forward to the fast-approaching 2026 season, Tournament Director Jeff Kelm said: “This year is going to be a lot of fun! The Masters Walleye Circuit always strives to fish “the best waters at the best times,” and that holds true to this year as much as ever. With changes to the World Walleye Championship in 2026, and the addition of a Nitro ZV20 powered by Mercury, anglers are continuing to be put first to ensure every season is the best it can be. As a reminder, the 2026 MWC schedule is as follows;

March 20-21 – Illinois River, Spring Valley, Illinois

May 8-9 – Mississippi River, Red Wing, Minnesota

June 5-6 – Lake Winnebago, Oshkosh, Wisconsin

July 23-24 (Thursday-Friday) – St. Mary’s River, Sault Ste Marie, Michigan

August 21-22 – Bitter Lake, Webster, South Dakota

September 18-19 – Cass Lake, Cass Lake, MN

October 1-3 – 2026 World Walleye Championship (WWC) – Devil’s Lake, North Dakota
